Marakai Competition

Hi!
Recently my friend Hana and I were in a school cooking competition together. The competition was called The Marakai Competition. Marakai means 'Garden' in Maori. The winners would go on to the regional competition. We made chicken and bok choy gyozas, with nori miso soup and lemongrass infused dipping sauce. Luckily, we won!! We were so happy and tomorrow is the regional competition which will be held at Gisborne Intermediate.

  1. Hi Isabella, It's Charlie (Chilli), Congratulations on the win! I really enjoyed eating some of your 'chicken and bok choy gyozas, with nori miso soup and lemongrass infused dipping sauce' they tasted SO professional. How many times did you and Hana have to practice the recipe and what time did it work out the best? This reminds me of the Friday when we had dumplings and spring rolls for the Lunch order. Maybe you could change the title a bit because 'chicken and bok choy gyozas, with nori miso soup and lemongrass infused dipping sauce' is pretty complicated.
    Good Job, From Charlie (Chilli).
